About 5x6" acrylic painting - darn this was hard to photograph! This was the best one I could get of him and scanning it wasn't good either. The minotaur - muscular, yet looming - his eyes stare, but they only show a blank, animal like expression.
I used a couple of reds, a dark blue, diox purple, titian buff and burnt sienna.
I have been doing the metal/jewellery thing since September now and it's nice to be drawing again. It's like I needed to step back. I was told in a very friendly way something that my work was lacking, and that was attention to detail, so I'm really trying to be more mindful instead of mindless

I end up with very few winter photographs, although I'll probably post some when I'm on spring break next week - it's been a very busy school year for me!
Nice piece, especially the face (and description of him helps to bring to life) that while a monster in some eyes he is not evil, there is just something wild there
